It's a bot, folks... a very cool project with an I/O board, serial connection, and a Mac laptop - it's still a bot.

He did come clean in the IRC though. It's quite an impressive feat of image recognition, which basically means he has a computer playing it in realtime as opposed to playing it from a pre-programmed chart.
