  • ohhimagain ftw lmfao

  • I should be doing history homework right now but instead I'm sitting here watching this. Why can't I be at least a little normal?

  • LOL Number 1! I name mine Richard Cox, but he likes to be called Dick :)

  • haha he doesnt have a girlfriend xD

  • Man! Drew lost like 100lbs since then.

  • I definitely have been decapitated.

  • I want to know the percentages to these questions......where can i find them

  • O-Hey-Me-Again, something like that.

  • @MrSoccerr

    O Him Again

  • O-Him-Again??!?!??!?!?!

  • he has a girlfriend

  • this is the last stick im going to canada

  • 0:01

  • @blomfy Why doesn't that ever work for me

  • @dobtoronto

its one word dude, give it a break.

  • I do believe that I heard some variation of the #1 question on the Newlywed Game...

  • how about rename the show "awkward time on national television with drew carey"

  • For real?

    CBS can't spell 'provocative'?

  • Unless they polled every american, the questions themselves are wrong

  • @tjohn1986 You might try studying up on statistics before making a statement like that. A good bit of random sampling can easily take care of that problem for you.

  • @Twentydragon Yeah no maybe you should. Selective sampling is never accurate and is never considered to be

  • @tjohn1986 Uh-huh. I said nothing about "selective sampling". I said "random", i.e. unbiased, fair, and reasonably accurate. Look it up.

Of course no survey is going to be completely 100% accurate and error-free, but polling everyone in the country is ridiculous, even for politics. What random sampling does is allow you to make inferences based on a much smaller number of people without asking absolutely everybody.

  • @Twentydragon And how do you decide what's random and what's selective. "Random" sampling in different parts of the country for same question will yield different results. So how are the contestants expected to know the answer??

  • @tjohn1986 The point is that they're taking a random sample of the country as a whole, not just parts of it. Everyone is supposed to have a roughly even chance of being polled, but it appears they're more likely to catch you right on the street in a major city. Still, contestants are supposed to estimate the answer, not necessarily to know its exact value. As long as the survey results are within the range of values the contestant is given, they get credit for the answer.

  • @Twentydragon I don't watch that stupid show so I don't know. All I was pointing out is that the whole premise of the show is wrong and all the answers are too

  • @tjohn1986 If you haven't watched the show, you wouldn't know whether the premise or answers are wrong, especially considering you apparently have little grasp of statistics or their use in games and game theory. Please, next time you feel like needlessly railing against something, try actually having a clue first.

  • @Twentydragon How stupid. No I don't need to watch the stupid show to know the premise, its very apparent from the clip. Nice try on defend the stupid show. TRY AGAIN

  • @tjohn1986 Resorting to namecalling isn't helping your case. Rather, it simply reinforces mine that you really don't know what you're talking about. Come back later when you've matured to the point where you can remain civil in a simple discussion.

  • @Twentydragon What name calling? Making shit up. Whatever I am done here. These samples don't represent America. END OF STORY

  • @tjohn1986 Sure they don't. Just like Gallup polls and whatnot. The only difference here is that the sample is smaller so the error is larger. It's still plenty accurate enough for a game.

  • @Twentydragon You seriously did not just compare this garbage to Gallup poll

  • @tjohn1986 It's the same principles of statistics at work.

  • @Twentydragon NO principles are not the same. The samples are not large enough to be noteworthy

Even then I don't trust the source. Gallup poll is an international org. that has been around for half a century and very well respected. WHAT A RIDICULOUS COMPARISON

  • @tjohn1986 Sample size does not dictate or change the principles of taking samples. The only thing changing the sample size does is require more or less time for more or fewer researchers.

Don't misunderstand me. I am in no way degrading Gallup or elevating "The Power of 10" to their well-earned prestige. Rather, I am saying that math is math, no matter what the situation. Statistics, as part of math, is not subjective. They are indeed the same principles of sampling at work here.

  • @Twentydragon No its not man. The principle you are saying does not apply to human polling. It applies for example in medicine like biopsy (even then false results do occur)

You cannot poll 10 people and call it a national poll. Gallup poll for eg. polls almost every major city across America to cover all demographics.

    Hope this explains it

  • @tjohn1986 Technically, yes you can have a ten-person poll and call it national, but your margin of error is going to be something like 98%, and no one's going to take it seriously.

I suspect they are getting quite a large number of people's answers for this, even covering all demographics. If not, they're not doing it right, and that's human error, not a difference in the principle being applied.

However, I don't think we're making any headway here anymore, so I'll agree to disagree.

  • I would've liked to have seen the answers to these.

  • @bainsey89 I was thinking the EXACT same thing!

  • 0:14 "I need to meet these women!"

lmao I gotta meet this guy he is badass lol

  • what a stupid game show

  • DREW CAREY! :D

  • What percentage of Americans said they do not have sex with Mick Jagger on a daily basis?

  • im not sure about the mormon religon ...im not a mormon

i do believe that gay people should have the right to get married

p.s. im not gay ... im straight

  • @Eriochi Mormons practice polygamy which is basically marrying more then one woman. They are a branch of Christianity which means that in no way would they be gay.

  • @guywithhair202 Mormons aren't a denomination of Christianity. They themselves state so.

  • @guywithhair202 Erm, no they don't. That's been done and over with for well over 100 years.

  • I want the answers! Esp to that decapitated one!

  • TN4R69, Feliscar, both of you need to shut the fuck up and get chemically castrated.

  • hey, if gay people can get married, why can't polygamists have more wives? Seems a bit one sided to me. A lot of guys out there have been with more than one woman anyways.

Na, who could handle more than one wife, I couldn't.

Besides, Mormons haven't had polygamy since the 1890's,

alot better than jihadist muslims, kkk baptists, or molesting catholic priests.

  • You sir are incredibly dumb and have an apparent lack of understanding about the Mormon religion. They actually have a form of practicing polygamy in which only one wife is the ''legal'' wife.

And the gay argument you used is incredibly dumb because homosexuality and polygamy are entirely unrelated. A homosexual could or could not be a polygamist if the circumstance allowed.

  • Who are you calling a dumb ass?

I am a Mormon, and apparently you lack understanding of our religion. Maybe you should actually spend two years as a missionary, harassed and threatend all your life, and still tell me that you know more than me about my own religion. Only apostates from our church still practice polygamy. It is an ex-communal offense. Also, we believe in honoring and sustaining the law. So any wife beyond a "legal" one, as you say, would be a sin. So watch your tongue, sir.

  • @Feliscar Thank you for that, Feliscar. I TOTALLY agree, im mormon too. :P

  • LDS does not equal FLDS.

  • @GravityFamily AGREED. IM LDS and that kinda made me mad lol

  • my gf calls mine sloppy joes xD

  • my gf calls mine tiny tim

  • Where can I find the answers?

  • hey, have u managed to find the answers for these questions?

  • lol id love to hear the 'decapitated' answer!

  • i really want to know too.. did anyone find out?

  • its alrdy off the air, it hasnt been on tv for like 2 years, oh and LOL at the part about the decapitated americans

  • ohimagain xD

  • @gotmilk3001 might be true if he ever had a girlfriend

  • unbelieveable, i hate this show. I'm actually thinking to work really hard to get it off the air

  • It hasn't aired for over a year.

  • my gf calls mine daddy diesel

  • I hope this doesn't fall upon deaf ears:

CBS: PLEEAAAAASE BRING THIS SHOW BACK!!!! All that killed it was a BAD timeslot! You ran it against Deal or No Deal and AMERICAN IDOL!!! This is a very creative, yet incredibly simple format, and it deserves to be on the air! Plaese won't you at least consider bringing it back?!!

  • no. its cos she doesnt know why it gets smaller and smaller eery time.

  • Honestly, that's not something somebody would scream "HOLY SHIT" about.

  • yer im sure it was more like. holy shit. fix your dick man

  • Very funny, too bad it's impossible to fix a dick, eh? They don't do plastic on that shit.

  • yer that is too bad... o well. maybe youll get lucky and satan will make a deal with you . your soul for a dick bigger than ur 2 incher :)

  • You got that from a stick animation didn't you? The one where this one dude has a tiny penis compared to the two other guys so Satan comes up and he exchanges his soul for this giant f*cking five footer. Yeah... then he beat the shit out of the two others guys with his dick... *cough* Be careful what you wish for

  • i wanna know #4 lol

    bwahahahaha

  • What a great promo! I've not seen this show before but the reading of the questions makes me want to tune in so I can find out the answers.

  • How can Drew do this program and the Price is Right? Drew should stick with this program only, he's great at it and much more entertaining! Drew is a comedian, and a great one -- let him be in a hosting position where he can shine, like in the Power of 10!

  • drew carey show...i think that ended but then there is price is the show u mentioned and this show and then whose line is it anyway which is the most recent i think
