The 454 that you guys are talking about in the latest SS's were extremely slow, they were produced in a day when the vette's had under 300hp. The 454's from the late 60's and 70 had serious power! This tundra is now getting headers installed soon and runs 14.6's at the 1/4 mile with just an intake and exhaust on 20's.
The silverado was running like shit and had some issues that the owner never takes care of hahaha.
They should have a rematch (in mexico) with the silverado running 100% and the tundra with more bolt ons sometime soon.

my mom has a sequioa with the 6 speed and the 5.7. we tow a lot with it so its got a k&n intake so about 400 hp after intake. all i know is that ive whooped a mustang gt, civic si and a f350 that's stacks made a fuckton of smoke. the f350 i raced off a light he whooped me to about 40 but after that i blew right past him and i knew he didn't let off cause you could hear his boost all the way to about 80, at which point i was about 4 car lengths in front of him and i hit it till it cut off @115

How about 700+ at the wheels. I am not saying the Toy isn't a good truck, and that it is slow, but saying that no one has anything that can compete, is flat wrong. a 6.2 chevy has over 400 hp factory, add a SC, and believe me it will product much more than 500hp. I have raced one, and I didn't get smoked.

The 454 that you guys are talking about in the latest SS's were extremely slow, they were produced in a day when the vette's had under 300hp. The 454's from the late 60's and 70 had serious power! Now that GM is offering the 6.2 with 404hp and a 6speed in the 1500's, things are gonna get good. I look forward to seeing some of those vids.

chevy isn't going bankrupt! The only thing that the toyo has going for it is the 6 speed and the 4.30 gears that come with it..I give them credit for that..there's your speed.
