You can either use a Line Out Converter (Google it)

to get the signal out of your stock head unit to your amplifier, and then to your subs/speakers.

But, stock head units usually cut the bass, so if you want to hook up a subwoofer, use the MTX Re-Q5.

It re-ups the bass before sending the signal to your amp.

flip around ur box it sounds way better my uncle has a  mazda 3 wit 2 fosgate hx2 12 and he had emm that way andhe flipped emm towards the trunk and it hits ten times harder

uh no. it sounds like it hits harder because the air is pushing on everything else and is making it rattle and absorbing all the good bass and all you actually get is a tid bit of the sound.

And that sub is wayyyy under powered. that fucker should be flexing.

Sounds like the gains, or the bass is turned way to high up. Subwoofer sounds like it's bottoming out the voice coil... unless it's just the speaker distoring you recorded this with ?
