@BradThunder Some say it is Airfix's best effort yet.. but even then the rivet counters have found the odd fault.. :) :) I'm still trying to get a kit in 1/72 of the Sea Vixen, but I have no rush.. It is a beautiful plane though.. :)
@BasicModelling Weighted tyres - as an option! (in case you want it flying with the wheels down) And some of the detail is almost resin-quality. Not quite, but almost! Annie also bought me the old B-25 Mitchell. Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum!
@MakingModelsAgain Yes,the Airfix B-25 is a kit from another era.. from days gone by! BUT it still builds a very nice little model with a bit of care and attention, and I like the options of the nose sections given.. not many kits offer you 3 different noses!! :) :) I saw one made up at the Hendon Show last year, and it was a beauty.. I hope to get mine built as part of my theme for this year.. :)
