would be sweet if this came with the earlier versions slide lock!! in the rs gun it produced too much stress and did not actually help with sound suppression (so they stopped making them). but airsoft should have no problem.. and fixed-slide guns with a mock suppressor really work well to dampen noise! I used to own a TM MK23. that think was a beast and accurate. but it was plastic and the slide could only be half cocked... )=

It's awesome to see a company that is finally producing a GBB of the MK23, since the KSC version is long since unavailable.

BTW: KWA's Specwar is now the HK MK23 USSOCOM and that will be printed on the slide, no more "specwar".

You left out a few details in your review though, what is the weight of the gun? Which parts are metal and which are ABS? Is the barrel metal or ABS? Will the pistol come with a suppressor (silencer) and LAM like the real one? How many rounds does the magazine hold?

@pwnetic0energy tm, WE. kjw and we are of ok quality, for most people, it will satisfy their needs, and both brands are marui compatible so there are a ton of parts. People might go "marui doesn't come with a metal slide and can't take green gas" They CAN take green gas, they won't break from it or anything (heavy use, quite a few years, yeah, something will probably break, but that's to be expected) The stock internals are better than kjw or we, even though the slide is plastic.

@pwnetic0energy Kwa is good too, though they are different from everyone else, there aren't compatible with other manufacturers. Mags are expensive too. Quality is top notch though.

226 and m9 are about it. Idk, there are some pics with guys and glocks, but that's only if they're like training iraqi police. Sidearms are pretty inflexible. If you're SWF I believe you may be able to choose from a few different sigs. Contractors use pretty much everything under the sun (still their issue gun).

Last I heard- the MK23 SPECWAR is not going to be released bc H&K trademarked all of their designs and only Umarex can replicate their firearms so as I said- last I heard KWA well not legally be able to release the MK23. It may change but all of the G36, MP5, 416, and USP replicas have been discontinued as far as I know which is why Umarex is releasing their own AEG's with licensed Trademarks.

great,umarex 90% of the time makes shitty airsoft guns that suck balls ,now if they trademark KWA's KP45,sold!,but their newly released G36c sucks so badly (except for the one on ehobbyasia electric blowback for $225) umarex gives H&K a bad name by producing really crappy guns.their air guns are par.but im concerned what they will do if all the 416's,MP5's,G36's USP's and Mark 23's get discontinued.

No Ksc is Taiwan based and exports to Japan with plastic slides (exporting causes their high price tag) while their taiwanese guns are metal with trades
