Più ascolto questo organista e più lo apprezzo! Bisognerebbe mettere le sue esecuzioni in allegato a "Vita, arte e opere di J.S.Bach" di Forkel: così si riuscirebbe davvero a far capire cosa sia l'organo per Bach! Complimenti vivissimi! Spero che qualche chiesa si avvalga del servizio liturgico di questo grande artista, perchè sarebbe un peccato che non suonasse anche a servizio e gloria di Dio!

One of the world's fine organ treasures, made famous by the 1950s recordings of Helmut Walcha, then the widely distributed World Record Club pressing of Fernando Germani playing Bach. And during this time, the resident organist, Piet Kee, up until the mid '80s gave his own superb recitals and also made some fine CDs for Chandos. This vid clip briefly shows the side organ, dating from the early 16th C, in fine playing condition and of advanced specs for its day. Thanks Manuel; very well played.

"Herr Jesu Christ, Dich zu uns wend'" textually calls for the Lord Jesus Christ to wend HIs way to us, rather than the angels' call for us to join them, which they of course know is the only way for us to join them. Heavenly piece, heavenly organ, heavenly performance; I can't imagine the worship music Bach's been composing with a glorified mind for us to employ over the past 260+ years he's been in heaven.

Very beautiful performance.

The audio here was almost certainly recorded from the gallery - understandibly. Schnitger's genius becomes evident from the nave. Alkmaar is the fresh, light-filled, golden-voiced sister of Zwolle. Searching for fine recordings of this organ will be richly rewarded. It is an incomparably beautiful organ. Double Praestant in the facade like torn silk.

Però, sei riuscito a suonare quell'organo, beato te! Io ho delle registrazioni di quello strumento. Ma cos'è di Bach? E' una fuga estratta da qualche fantasia o preludio e fuga? Mi diresti anche il BWV? (sono un organista ma l'avrai già capito)

sono m contento che in Italia ci sia molta gente appassion di M. classica e soprattutto di org,mi ha fatto piacere ricevere il tuo commento,alle volte un modo di suonare può piacere a taluni e ad altri no (basta che leggi il commento prima del tuo),io cerco di fare musica il più possibile in modo filologico, sono vincitore di 7 concorsi organistici,uno era proprio su Bach,evidentemente non tutti la pensano come te,ma cio che pensi non è sbagliato,infatti il mondo vive di diversità.con stima M.T.

Comunque, forse sono stato un po' troppo precipitoso.

Comunque ti conosco, sono stato al Conservatorio di Udine, e ora sono al cons. di Rovigo per motivi universitari.

Il fatto è che sono rimasto di quella idea da una volta che hai suonato alla chiesa di S. Quirino a Udine una fantasia di Bach (non ricordo quale), era una tua esibizione solistica assieme al coro di Ruda!

(avevo aggiunto un altro commento che forse si è perso che confermava che suoni molto bene ;) )
