watched friday the 13th part 3 in 3-d. surprisingly the 3d effects were really good, only problem is the lighting in the room has to be just right for it to work.

I tried to watch a bit of The Queen in 3D, but it was virtually unwatchable without the glasses!

It wasn't much more watchable with the glasses. Though if you go lazy eyed, you can definitely see the 3D effect it has to be said!

I imagine only the blue and amber ones will work (from anywhere if you have them) as thats the colour the images have been designed for. Not that I've been able to get it to work with the Derren Brown trailers yet...

to watch 3D week you have to use the 1's free from sainsburys as they are amber and blue. am hold a pair now, they purposely made it to you have to go to sainsburys to get a workin pair and so they wont work with anything else 3D. well sly

To be fair the footage in the ads is warped and placed on a screen within the footage... not exactly the perfect conditions for watching 3D footage.

When broadcast properly it'll be full screen and fully anaglyph 3D.

I was just pleased to see the Blocks ident return in some form... with or without its green block :P

yehh ive read that the movies have been remasters in colour code 3D so no need to worry, itd be pretty dumb if you needed 2 different types of 3D glasses for 3D week. im looking forward to the darren brown thing and the friday best 3D thing most of all tho
