  • That sax is, to use a word I dislike, awesome!!!! What a wonderful saxophonist, just superb.

  • Beautiful!

  • This interpretation is simply the best ever life version I've ever heard, thanks to Candy Dulfer on the sax !!

  • magic

  • Without a doubt one of the best songs ever. The words, the music and the awesome sax part at the end are all perfect. (All my friends and family know that I want this song played at my funeral). I like the studio version of the sax part better, but Candy does a great job also/

  • The End Of the World March 2012,the Feast of Purim, Christ returns to avenge his elect, more info google ebiblefellowship

  • I did'nt like sax part in comparison with studio version.

  • My all time favorite A.P. song. when I pass this will be the song played at my after life party.

  • That sax player is very good - I mean you know, for a broad.

  • Every time when i hear this song i start to cry! It makes me so sad!

  • This singer is absolutely great, a hunk. Wish I had seen them live. I actually love their music but didn't know Mick Mullins - wish I did. WOW

  • This song &" Time" also by ALP are one of the most beautiful songs that this universe will ever hear forever.

  • The gal on the sax is ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!!

  • Sheeet. She's a 'spittin' image' of my ex-wife! = superb!

  • @PhiZappaCrappa Were you married to Candy Dulfer? That would explain it.

  • @PhiZappaCrappa most people don't compliment their ex-wife. good for you.

  • GOD BLESS AMSTERDAM. PEACE

  • Wooowww....Candy is awesome good!!! pfffff, really stunning indeed!

  • Mick "Whose coat's that jacket?" Mullins.

  • I have put a request in my Will to have this song played at my funeral... a bit morbid of me I know but can anyone think of a better piece of music to honour life and friends....? It's just simply a fabulous song.....

  • Great performance. Mick sounds a lot like Colin. Oh yeah, Candy can play my sax any day.

  • espero cuando la vida me deje caer ese telon no lo duden porque de igual manera nos vamos a ir . que viva la vida.

  • Man, what a fantastic performance.

  • THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MUSIC OF THE WORLD !!!!

  • Mick is marvellous . He deserved more than he got limelight -wise. Walking In the Rain with Modern Romance was his finest moment.

  • listen to Shadows - Pryda, way better ;)))

  • @vinyl2k8 That is the worst thing someone could ever do with this song, in that version it has completely lost its value. I think it's absolutely disgusting!

  • Have been enjoying a new alan parsons(via the subclones) thing called 'how fragile' , and the sound reminds me of this song

  • excellent performance

  • Ahh; y quien toca la corneta??

  • The saxaphone is played by Candy Dulfer, who hails from Holland.

She also featured with Pink Floyd at Glastonbury

She was immortalised by Prince when he sang "when I want sax, I send for Candy"

  • Thanks for posting this Carlos - I just love this song & the music really gets me, but does anybody know who the guesting brass section are please? As for Mick Mullins - I'm not very familiar with him but I'd like to be!

  • Simply wonderful. Great performance. Mick Mullins sings almost like the original singer. I have injoyed this video almost every day, and never has been enough to me.

Thanks Carlos, it is simply great. And the solo is equally wonderful.

  • This is beautiful! I had never heard of Mick Mullins until I came across him singing this and Eye in the Sky at the same event. I can't understand why there isn't more material about with him singing solo - pity, because I think he's really good.

  • Mick Mullins was the singer in Modern Romance back in the 80's, all together " oh oh oh best years of lives"

  • Filmed in Holland in the mid 90's sung I believe by Mick Mullins who is/was one of Cliff Richards backing singers, Original singer was Colin Blunstone (studio version) Sax by Hollands own Candy Dulfer! stunning...........

  • @harleywarbird The concert was called world liberty concert. this was cause holland was liberated 50 years. my parents went to the concert. they did also eye in the sky. they videotaped the whole concert when it was on the telly. i watched it thousands of times. i could playback the whole tape. awesome concert it was. one of the most best concerts holland organized back in the days.

  • @PANZERCAMPINO. Totally agree with you. Today people make instant music. Todays music will never be long lasting.

  • KeeeRyst! She's gorgeous!

  • This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful songs in the history of modern music. Everything fits perfectly. The musicians, the performance, by the way, I see it is Candy Dulfer the girl playing the saxophone!! Where was the concert held? I attended one of Parson's concert here in Chile, but it was long back in time, in 1995, actually. Is the concert available in dvd? Thanks for sharing this treasure.!!!

  • Why dont they make music like this anymore instead of the shit we get today.

  • @MultiEllie1 I think it is because this kind of music is too difficult to understand nowadays. I totally agree with you when you say that today's music is shit. In fact, it isn't music at all. I don't know if in UK young people listen to "reggaeton". In my country most teenagers listen to that "audiopoison". Ehhh!!!! you like Al Stewart, too!!!! I keep listening to his very best album (should I say LP?) Do you like the song "One stage before"?

  • Even sounds awesome live, Brilliant.

  • a perfect song, perfect composition, perfect harmonies, perfect musicians, simply THAAAAANX

  • Wow.... this is a gorgeous version of a gorgeous song. I love the orchestra. It's just chilling. And the sax solo is THRILLING. Next to the original studio version, this is now my favorite. Thank you for posting this!!!

  • Colin Blunstone's original version was probably one of the most incredible songs I've ever heard.

This one is very good thought. He tries to sound like Colin, and almost made it. Yet he shouldn't smile that much at the beggining of the song. That's annoying on this song.

  • Thanks for uploading it, it's beautiful! I think Mick Mullins singing it gives me goosebumps, and so does Candy Dulfer. BRAVO!

  • That 'Killer Sax player' is Candy Dulfer. Najore Jazz/blues talent, and has played with Pink Floyd!

  • geweldige video, hartelijk bedankt voor het plaatsen

  • Damn.... I miss the 80s

  • That sax part is a killer

  • @a68rebel yup! gave me the goosebumps!

  • @a68rebel Indeed! That was an epic performance that sends chills up my spine. Mega kudos to Candy and Mick for doing this song justice!

  • great song from one of the greatest era's in music

  • @DASTARDLYWALLACE - Yeah, the early '80s were pretty cool and every Alan Parsons Project album from '79 until late '84 was killer, although I truly didn't appreciate their music until about 1985 or so.

  • Gawddamn!

  • Wow..he sounds a LOT like Blunstone!

  • @garymichaelshannon even better, he IS Colin Blunstone! But you probably knew that already, right?

  • @drolindepot Take a closer look...

  • @drolindepot Has Colin Blunstone hair..but it is Mick Mullins of Modern Romance.

  • @garymichaelshannon Well, I guess your're right.

  • @drolindepot Either way..it's a heck of a job!

  • the lady who is playing the sax is superb

  • Oh wauw, thanks for uploading!

  • this is the greatest song ever

  • When Candy Dulfer comes on "it....smells....like ....victory"

  • Yes, it is Mick Mullins! :)

  • Who is the singer and the sax girl??

    Awesome video??

  • @vmcomsource The sax player is Candi Dulfer, probably the best female sax player in the world. The singer was not Alan Parsons regular lead singer, but he did an awesome job at this concert......I forget his name.

  • @steve83333 Clin Blunestone who was lead singer for "the Zombies" 1966-1970 and then "Argent", solo and to A.P.P.

  • @vmcomsource I think the singer is Mick Mullins, the sax player Candy Dulfer......they were awesome in this performance.
