just bought 4 10" visonik subs and they were ported which made absolutely no bass and i sealed it and now it makes 1/4 what my 1 12" hifonics does lol im really sad i had high hoped for 4 10" subs

Sealed boxes all the way.... But I just bought some used subs called logic soundlab, 2 12's in a vented box with a 2000 watt amp made from nitro... never heard of the amp... ( got the shit off craigslist) I didnt like the way they sounded in a vented box so my friend said flip the subs around so i did and damn it hits hard i FEEL THE BASS MORE then vented... So its about half way sealed i assume and its better now... Im wondering if it will be better completely sealed...

why do the pros go ported? to be the loudest...not the cleanest sounding....ported vs sealed is a very hard topic, since everyone has their opinions but if you want tight responsive sound go sealed, and if you want loud over the top bass go ported. Not everyone wants to have the loudest setup, so chill your role
