I can remember the first time I heard this song...nearly 7 years ago and I heard it on the radio as I pulled into my driveway. I was so captivated by it that I didn`t get out my car until the song was finished. It puts Nat King Coles version in the shade.
I`ve been a fan of Hootie and the Blowfish for many years since 'Cracked Rear View' came out and I`m still a massive fan today.
Thank u, Thank u, Thank u for posting this. I've been looking for this for ages. What an incredible job they've done of this all time classic. I wa lucky to see them in London on the Fairweather Johnson tour about 4 days before Christmas, and Darius sung this on his own, with no music. You could hear a pin drop!! Blew me away. Thanks again.
NOD134 - I`m so jealous of you - watching Hootie in concert must have been an amazing experience.
As well as a massive talent, the lads have massive hearts too. A few years ago they donated a school bus jam packed to the ceiling with school supplies for their kids in their SC home town. A friend of mine who lives in Sumta told me about it.
They've been doing the school supply donations for years. They call them the "Homegrown Tours." I've seen them 8 times in concert and I think they've had the school bus at 4 or 5 of them. You're right about them having big hearts. They're great guys.
@NOD134 wow u r really lucky ive never been able to seem them especially the fairweather johnson tour as i missed the uk dates, im saving up to fly over and see a homegrown tour in the U.S
wow this is cool

I'm an iPod user and I got it from the iTunes store. Just search for "hootie and the blowfish christmas" and it'll pop up.
