@MrAztecman as much as it may hurt or offend, the wars which are fought by men who voluntarily kill other human beings in the belief that it is for a higher purpose are planned and executed by those who do not fight and take no personal risk but command others to do so, so that they may attain more wealth and more power, and for what purpose? sometimes the truth hurts but that truth only exists because we are ignoring it, bringing it to the forefront is, i feel, every good persons duty.

In war, there are no winners.Think how many soldiers we're allready killed.This world has lost millions of lives and half of those lives were under the age of 25.If i would go to Afghanistan or anywhere else, and i would die there...none would care.And the same thing happened to most of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for nothing.Think about their families, about their mothers.Thumbs up, if you're against War.

Young men has always wanted to go to war, and it may always be that way. I dont think you are insane beacuse you want to go to war, it's in our nature and shall always be. You have to see the war yourself to change your opinion.

"freedom is a light for which many men have died in darkness".... there isnt one soldier that doesnt wish to sleep in their own bed and hold the one that they love... and i bow down before the thousands that make it possible for me to do just that. but as soldiers we must hold our heads high and do what we must. regardless of our own political feelings..... we all must respect the troops regardless of political or religious views....

I hope it doesn't change me to much as a person, but I have many complex reasons for what I plan on doing, not just the excitement and the adventure. We can either sit back and do nothing or we can get ourselves mixed up in this crock of shit that we call a war..and discover what its all really all about.

@MyTeenageyearzz Well, they think the US puts to much effort in military and to little in for example medical care, as I know you dont get free medical care in the US right? I saw this documentary last evening about a US Marine who got shot in Afghanistan, he joined the core only because he wanted to kill people, and in the eyes of a Swede that would definetely not be okey. Otherwise Swedes dont really cares what happens in the US, when we care only beacuse we're in Afghan and has a cooperation.

But that's maybe beacuse Sweden havn't been in an actual war seens 1814. Therefore, there will always be tension and wars going on. and there ARE winners in war...yes people sacrifice their lives for their country, but how can you say there are no winners when without war we might still be controlled by the British or still have Slavery, who knows how many more attacks Osama may have had planned.
