@RhyanaBodyrocker some people use protein bars & powders to replace certain snacks & for consumption after exercise when you're in the muscle building/repairing window. Some also use them as a meal replacement if they're eating 5 or 6 small meals for some of the meals - on waking before a morning workout & have brekkie just after for example. It works for some & not others. I used to put powders in a smoothie & have that as a meal. (Now I just eat a balanced diet all the time.) Experiment!
@RhyanaBodyrocker Hi thank you for watching. No I do not take any supplements or protein powders. I suggest to my clients to never take anything that you do not plan on doing for the rest of your life. Be well. Alycia
Alycia, what are the odds of, while working on getting rid of the love handles to replace the fat with muscle "looking like fat in those areas"? Wouldn't I be better off ignoring the V abs alltogether? I mean, think about it, you put so much work into it and when wearing a shirt it looks like have fat (and yes, in Alberta 330 days + in a year it is too cold not to!).
I imagine with under 10% body fat it wouldn't take a whole lot of exercise to develop those lateral abs?
@CalgaryAlpineStyle Hi...I am a bit confused, I am sorry. If you mean the "size" or diameter of your mid-section would still be the same after decreases fat in the area and improving tone, that would likely not occur. The same amount of fat occupies much more space that muscle and since we can not turn fat into muscle...the chances are if there is a lot of fat in the area that decreases and you are building tone there it probably won't be the same size. Be well. Alycia
Yes, that's true, the amount of fat that will eventually be replaced with muscles around the waist (it seems that the area it's called "suprailiac") will imply a reduced size of the mid-section.
What I was worried was the supra developed muscles (like body builders have in that middle section).
But in my case it shouldn't happen since I won't be putting too much of these type of muscles.

Hi Alicia!
I love your channel ^.^
i just have a question, do you take any kind of supplements like protein pills or powders and stuff like that?
I really need to reduce my belly fat (i also have cellulite :/ ) and i've been told that these help with proper diet to burn it.
Thank you!
