  • We had it demoed at the shoo I worked at. It didn't seem to fit how we do things. Put on the other hand we agreed that if we had hail dents to fix ut would be great for that.

  • Looks like you put a used quarter on the right side.

  • @MrDanpeters Yes, we did put a used quarter on the car. Thanks for watching.

  • that thing looks like a bazukkkaaaa XD also one question since you had bare metal does this protect the bare matall good?

  • @rocsvt1 It can be applied over metal, but the area must still be primed after sanding. Thanks for watching. Check out some of my other guides at Amazon. Visit CollisionBlast(dot)com/AmazonBooks

  • What are you using to sand it? Whats it called?

  • @glock316 I am using a sanding block with 80 grit followed by 180 grit sandpaper.

  • you're from the south?

  • @m33lad Yes, I am from the south!!!

  • when filling application should be carried out in both directions to avoid build up in one place more than the other. Good looking product mind you everything 3M do is lol. One last thing i would not press so hard with my first fill hey ho

  • Flat Tire ???

  • i sanded my car down were i had a big dent used my drill and some screws how can i cover the holes?do i fiberglass it then use bondo or putty?and to shape itt wat sanding grit number do i use?

  • @ChevyGangman323 Here is the ways I would fill the holes starting with the best choice. 1) MIG Weld, Fiberglass Filler, Body Filler, Putty if needed. 2) Solder, Body Filler, Putty if needed. 3)Fiberglass filler, Body filler, putty if needed. I shape body filler with 36 grit followed with 80 grit and then 150 grit. Prime and block with 320 and finish sanded with 500 grit before painting.

  • Depending on the brand, the cost will vary. 3M now makes it in a squeeze container and so does Evercoat. I believe the cost is in the 30's.. You may check CollisionBlast(dot)KustomPaint for prices. Thanks for watching!

  • p.909 car body polyester putty cost of it pleazz teall me 1kg i got over 8 of them

  • Should really mask the wheels.

  • @takethehitgee Thanks for watching. We got some disposable plastic wheel covers that would have worked great for this.....Next Time! Thanks for watching!

  • id finish with 220 grit?

  • @MrNjm1640 You can, the primer surfacer we use cover 150 well, but taking it to 220 is not going to hurt anything. It may take less time block sanding your primer.

  • it woulda made it easier if you dropped the edge of the bumper down..

  • @jks315 Good Point. Thanks for watching!

  • Things sure have changed.. When I was in your line of work , we used red spot and glaze putty, then wet sanded it. Looks like it was simpler, faster, and I'll bet a bunch less expensive the way we used to do it.....

  • @markat425 I agree, things have changed a lot. I remember the red putty too. Thanks for watching!

  • nice.. love watching it..

  • @tucsonautodetailing thanks for watching!

  • I LOL @ 5:15

  • @TheCinreds ....We could get a lot done if we could work that fast...lol

  • @ButlerCollision I do body work and paint, that would be awesome to sand bondo and duraglass that fast! LOL XD

  • This gun sucks, we tested it out in our shop only to find out that to get the hardner mixed in you have to waste half of a 200 dollar tube, and by the time your ready to spread the shit is dried up on the damn board, I recommened going out and buying a descend gallon of filler, a couple tubes of hardner and learn to do the damn thing yourself.

  • @5698411 The first filler they came out with had that problem. However, the corrected the problem. It mixes fast with very little waste now. I think the first batch had a problem with the harder getting mixed in. If you've already purchased the gun I recommend that you buy another tube and give it another try.

  • 550 fuckin' bucks to auto-mix the putty ?

I'll take this 550 bucks and buy myself some Jagermeister just to be sure i do not miss any as im doing the job.

  • wow you can surf on that bodywork.. lol jk

  • i would love to get my hands on that mixing gun! how i do it is with a can of filler and a tube of hardener haha thats so cool how it mixes it together like it would with plastic fillers. never seen anything like that

  • @bigryan991 it's cool. I love using it. Mixes perfect everytime!

  • YEAH........ IT DOES LOOK LIKE IT WAISTES ALOT OF MATERIAL.........

  • @BLOCKPOETRY Actually, the 3M system does not seem to waste too much. I think that is save material, as there is nothing left on the board from over mixing. I really like using it. However, like with anything, it depends on the user. Some of my students love it and others prefer the traditional method. I give it a good rating!

  • 3 m dynamic mixing system i saw it a few times in others video 3m dynamic mixing system

  • heyy how much did that nozel thing cost or what is it called? again I watched the video with no head phones lol

  • that waste a lot of material that nosel thing?
