Personally, as a mac user, i don't say that pc is a shit box. windows works wonderfully. however, getting it to @#$%ing do what i want is impossible. Simple and efficient are just not how i would descirbe a pc. but hey, you know what? its your computer. not mine.

Heh. Well Mac's have never worked for me. Ever. I've lost a lot of important projects on them, but that's all they seem to do for me. Look up "Mac Rant". That's the exact same experience I've had with them.

I had those exact same problems he talks about in the rant on the new MacBook... iBook... Whatever the hell it is. One of the new laptops. I find it funny that all the Mac users in my home are constantly asking for help. But you're right, it's the person. I think Macintosh makes "toy computers" while others think they're a gift from God. *Shrug* Oh well.

The fact that you can't do anything with them beyond editing. The most simple tasks are impossible as they refuse to work for you. Mac's are safe, there's no way to do any damage, but there's nothing else you can do either. But as I've said several times, that's just me.

WTF... Mac OSX was built on a unix core you dumbassm hence it SHOULD be almost identical to features sen in any linux distribution.

The OSX kernel was based on an existing unix-like kernel, but the result was a huge mess, and certainly doesn't imply the rest of the OS' subsystems would be 'unix-like' in any way.

In any case, people who really understand what they're about know the Vista kernel is actually a more advanced, more flexible kernel than even the OSX kernel.

All of Vista's 'ripped' features were featured as early as 2002, whereas the first Mac copies showed up between 2003-2004. Vista took longer getting to market, but Mac was the one to steal. Look it up, Microsoft is suing Macintosh for slander and misleading ads. At least they aren't being children.
