@Ascensiam lame.... i would buy a HW3 if it were coming.. it would be sick multiplayer but it seems like they didn't give a crap about it.. the MP aspect seemed to be a second thought.
@Ascensiam You have a old information. Let's visit the gamespy lobby, and sometimes you can see a players. ) Or use a Tunngle or Gameranger for playing online.

The best direction to attack a hiigaran-battlecruiser, in my opinion offcourse, is from above, because it has only one hevugun in its upper hull and theres a bigger hitchanse from above... and off course it cant fire those ion-cannons directly up.
I've see the two vids about the week point of hw2 battlecruser but it seem that the hiigaran one was the best one, it have destroied 2 fregates before been destroied, the vaygr one didn't destroied any of your fregat

If you had the Tactical Fleet Sim mod for HW then this wouldn't work. The bc would just rotate up.

never played this game in multiplayer.... are ion frigates used much? or is it pretty much all about destroyers and strikecraft?

@GoombaDaddy multiplayer is dead now, but it was almost always rushing and going after resource collectors.
I think people went for efficiency, if Hiigara, people would spam Torpedo frigs, if Vaygr, they would get Destroyers ASAP.
I have only seen a Battlecruiser two times in a multiplayer game.

The Heavy Guns can't fire up either, so it doesn't matter if it is from above, or below.
