I can get people talk about themselves all the time to me and feel they can totally trust me even if it's someone I randomly met for 10 mins (I've even had interviewers confessing how crap their job is!)...it's like a 'gift'
I hardly get to say a word! but somehow I end up not getting the job....I mean how do I sell myself then? they see me as a friend but not a potential candidate
There are no rules that apply to an interview. This guy is all wrong and is selling doper info.
The reason why there are no rules is that every person is different, every 2 people are different, every interview situation is different. Every interviewee will be nervous or not based on internal factors.
That is what is most important. But this is not something that a video over here is going to deal with.
So trying to follow 'rules', will make people perform worse. Yes, it is a Broadway
If you want to know more about this topic read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. Its a classic and is exactly about how to behave in business world.
Good work! As a headhunter, I appreciate your focus on being able to conduct a good conversation. It' all about establishing rapport, right? Keep posting dude.

Hello Rick,
Thanks a lot. That was pretty good info. Especially the principle about "listening" I always forget that and you reminded me.
