They actually sound nothing alike. John Stump wrote Death Waltz as a satirical joke and it actually involves more than just instruments (you need some cows and penguins also).

Flandre Scarlet's theme was remixed by a group called COOL&CREATE, and that has spawned a piano remix of a remix, which was uploaded for some reason as Death Waltz by John Stump, but the actual Death Walatz has such phrases like "release the penguins" and "like a dirigible" that it is actually a parody, but I suppose the uploader called it Death Waltz, because both songs are "impossible", but you should try not to mix up the names.

U.N Owen was her? isn't the Death Waltz. The REAL 'Death Waltz' is called Faerie's Aire and Death Waltz by John Stump which is well... bunch of randomness(literally) there's a vid for it. This one however is called U.N Owen Cool & Create Remix(based on the video name) not Death Waltz at all. heck this issue been so complicated there's a video explaining it. Hope this helped abit
