Why is people so unforgiving when it comes to Edison? Well because he was such an arrogant prick when he on top that everyone is more then happy see him go down. If he was a little more down to earth instead of acting like a spoilt brat back then, then maybe the public would be more forgiving. He has no one to blame but himself.

I think that Edison has done the right thing. He has taken responsibility for his actions and has not tried to justify it(like Gillian did unsuccessfully). He is simply apologizing for this whole ordeal. I respect him for his statement and for making the decision to remove himself from the Hong Kong entertainment industry. Many people place all the blame on him - I think he is partially to blame but he is also a victim here. His privacy was invaded and his pictures were stolen. I wish him well.
