i fucking hate this shit...they show a couple of seconds of the actual interview and then cut to bullshit...kurt loder etc....fuck you..just interview bobby and show me that....the rest is crap
Bob has given the creative world so much. In case nobody ever said thanks, here's a thank you for Bob - thank you! :) He's tough - isn't he. Great interview.
My VHS of this turned to dust....thanks youtube & MWM.....a different color....."I have very little faith in myself to do anything/I just pull it off..."
@MrDecibels82 Sorry my mistake i only have Martha Quinn Interview, Time Magazine Interview, San Francisco Press Conference, Lost Interview with Roy Silver, ThreeBBCDocs, and the other one done in 1986 England, i even imdb George Negus and couldn't find it, do you know if it was a 60 Minutes interview cause George Negus was with 60 Minutes till 1979-1986 cause if it was a 60 Minutes interview it would of been in George Negus last year with 60 Minutes so it might be at the 60 Minutes website.
"Bob Dylan WAS the sixties...?" Well, he was part of them but the fact is there was so much good music about then that, surprisingly, even today sounds fresh and relevant. Dylan's pact with the devil for fame and fortune backfired - that deal always does - and he was compelled to live out his life under the weight of his success in the glare of media adulation.
So basically I guess any entertainer that metaphorically mentions the crossroads or some type of pact in an interview, is a part of the illuminati or some kind of satanic conspiracy to enslave mankind right? What about Robert Johnson? Was he part of the illuminati? not that you mentioned the illuminati, but I've noticed a lot of references to Bob Dylan's pact with satan ever since that moron posted the backwards version of the 60 minutes interview.
@stewyshepiro Dylan says he made a deal with the 'commander' I think he called him and since god doesn't make deals he was presumably referring to some other entity - not that I take any of this stuff too seriously. In life coaching you simply write your goals down, focus on them and then achieve them - it's just positive thinking. Elvis and Lennon did this big time and both got squished by their amazing success. You can have, do or be what you want - just be sure it's what you want.
"starving Africa" wow, 20/20 states that the entire continent was starving? I believe USA for Africa was actually to raise funds for Ethiopian people who had been struggling with a drought in the mid 1980s. Nothing wrong in Zimbabwe, Liberia, Nigeria, Egypt, Algeria, Madagascar, Angola, Ghana, Uganda etc... I remember the US farmers being abandoned by the US Government in the 1980s though.
@pachacutti: Drought in Ethiopia was what leftists wanted you to believe. The real problem was communism. And those same lefties wanted you to believe the government "abandoned" farmers in the 80's. but in actual fact it was TOO much government interference in the agriculture market which caused the farm crisis of the eighties.
Instead of turning to guitar players and pop stars for answers to important issues. Why don't you try consulting experts for a change. You might learn something.
this was a great interview! he was very direct here, not that I blame him for being indirect on other occasions, some of the interviewers he's had I dont think understand him or his music at all.
nice to see Bob with his dog....an animal lover too..in Malibu

"Dear journalists,
I never want to fucking hear the word 'protest' again. Also, knock it off with that 'voice of a generation' shit, please. You lazy, cliched idiots.
Love,
Bob Dylan"
