you can tell these are real strings by the bowing technique. a computer doesn't have the knowledge to do that. listen for the double ups. you'll hear itt. i know cause i've been playin violin for 6 years and am in the top 200 nationally ranked and top 50 ranked in missouri :)) soo trusst. i think i'm gonna post a video showin how to play this.

This is absolutely amazing. It's very interesting, this version of the song sounds a bit happier and cheerful than the original, though both are equally beautiful. Listening to it makes me feel happy and calm, and it makes me want to hum along with it. Very relaxing and mood lifting! 5/5

A viola is not higher than a violin. And the reason it sounds fake has nothing to do with talent. It WAS done with real strings. The reason it sounds fake is becuase once it's posted online again from the original downloading source, it loses it perfecr sound quality. If you bought the song, you'd be able to hear the different bow strokes and everything. I know becuase I have tons of string tributes and this is one of them.

anna, your lack of knowledge about how audio files work is outstanding, but, it is very cool to see you taking this lack of knowledge out into the streets and imposing it on people. There is a VERY good chance this was just created using digital music software. Not only do all the instruments suffer from very digital, fake sounds - there are no changes in tone whatsoever, nor tempo. I say this as a university music student, studying viola. Suck it :)

You buy a string tribute then listen to it on a youtube video.Let me know how that goes as far as sound because a baby could tell you it sounds different. And I don't give a shit what you're studying. It doesn't change what music sounds like online. Honestly, you give viola players a bad name by going out showing just how stupid you are, then voicing that you play viola. You're a student, not a professor. If you're going to a good school, then maybe you're just not cut out for music. Suck it. :)

i think it sounds a little fake i can agree, but i don't think anyone knows whether it's realy or not. for all we know it could just be them playing and they have that talent to make their sounds so detached and fak-ish

but we just need to accept and enjoy!

you play viola and not violin viola is lighter than a vin and its also using cello causing the deeper tones. i have a keybord with muitble tips of string insturments and they dont sound the same

It is done with real strings. It's becuase it was posted online that it sounds fake. It lost its good quaity. I still think it sounds good though.
