Well before i say my opinion i do believe that wtc was brought down with bombs. the buildings were ahead of its time construction wise. and every time i see it im still baffled how such a modern built skyscraper collapsed. i just refuse to believe the U.S had anything to do with it. i can't. it hurts to much to believe our government did, and coming from a black woman in the ghetto and being hit hard by the economy shows i have some faith in th U.S. idk. the whole situation is still surreal.
@LADY69in Thanks for your comment.- most people when they are put into positions of power sooner or later become corrupt by the very assumption of unchecked power they derive from said position. put a bunch of these types together and you get classic tyranny as we have today
i am also pro american, i still believe in the country/however we have lost the ethics and morality which is necessary for a free republic to exist and continue to grow. reme, ber: Eternal Vigilance is the Price of Freedom
I always did have a problem with how the buildings fell and also, the high velocity dust jets that emanated from the buildings, sometimes well below the "collapse wave" that just didnt make sense. official story was high air pressure from the collapse caused them. but 25 stories below, Im not buyin it.
from what Ive read and seen, the cores of the buildings were 87 x 135 feet consisting of 47 core columns. this area also housed the bathrooms, elevators and such and were enclosed by several layers of sheetrock, not concrete. I remember the story on 9/11 of people including a window washer escaping stuck elevators through the sheetrock, cant carve through concrete in an hours time.
@silver05rocket thanks for your input and commentary. I appreciate your desire to learn and study this disaster, however go a little further and see that there was a concrete and steel reinforced central section which was the core strength of each wtc tower. if a bomb wee placed beneath these columns and then detonated to cause this column to fracture, it is very easy to see that the towers would then fall at almost free fall speed once the columns were compromised.
@silver05rocket - you need to go recheck the building blueprints and or do some more research. the elevator shafts were located within a 44 foot by 44 foot concrete and rebar reinforced central column which is what was the main support for both buildings. this column in both wtc 1 and 2 was vaporized just before both buildings fell. see the seismic reports just before the buildings fell for a 2.5 seismic event before each fall, this is the event which vaporized the cores of each building.

the only concrete in the towers were the 4" thick on the floors, there were no reinforced concrete walls, it was a steel frame covered with drywall.
