@andyhan4ever i got 2 PCs, one with 6870 and other one gtx570. believe it or not, but in heaven benchmark i dont get very different scores. 6870 has better max frame, wheres gtx has way better lowest frame. though 2x6870 will cost you same as gtx570, but 2x6870 will be way more powerfull. gtx570 is not even that great for sli considering how much power you need.

@SwiftXZ Video memory doesn't really matter as long as you have 1gb unless you use a very large resolution or eyefinity... you could say 2gb is better but majority of people will never utilize more than 1gb

Hey guys! i bought GTX570 DirectCUII... and I have a really big problem with this card. Every time I play BF3 most of the time the game will hang up and loss...(well, not only BF3 but in my other games) and the FPS will Drop down below 25 sometimes and actually I got BlueSrceenOfDeath that pisses me off more.

This situations never happened in my previous HD6950 unlock to HD6970 and run 24/7, that's why I put back HD6950 to my PC.

Note: my GTX 570 is updated to the latest driver.. Please help me!

@puff0086 GTX 570 is faster then the HD 6970 in about 80% of games.

(HD 6970 only wins at 2560X1600 and above) but for 1080P and below. the GTX 570 pretty much rapes the HD 6970.

(if the HD 6970 was overall faster, i would of gotten it.)

i advise researching benchmark comparisons on numerous games and resolutions.

@Osk94 No, I don't think you would if you're worried about performance for gaming. You can check your cpu and video card usage during gaming to see if either of them reach 100% usage which would be a sign there is a bottleneck.

i just got my GTX570 Overclock edition and it's really nice. I had a psu issue though. In my computer i had 600 psu and it had trouble Heaven Benchmark and Index update. I had to swap my 500 psu to my new 750 watts to unable to Update my Graphics index and Heaven benchmark. Overall I love this graphics card. I wasn't sure why other people have temp issue play games. I only have fans and it stays around 55 Celsius :)
