@yasinmemon for beginner DSLR, Canon 550D or Nikon D5100 are great, it depends on how much you want to spend on camera and lenses

I advise to buy the camera with a zoom lens (18-105 Nikkon or 18-135 canon ) and flash if possible

But just to start, it's ok to get only standard lens 18-55 to test your needs

Why would anybody want to shoot in Pal over NTSC especially with this camera that allows higher fps for NTSC (60fps with the 720, and 30fps with the 1080)?

I mean what would force you or make you need to choose Pal over NTSC in this case?

@VideoDocR Because NTSC 29.97 fps - so PAL 25 29.97 * 2 = 59.94

25*2 = 50 Mathematics easier )) (And we use a standard TV (PAL) - 25 frames, and in the U.S. - (NTSC)

@MsWolfinden ...High ISO = NOISEY/GRAINY video; the 600d aka Canon T3i - I have it. The reason why the video on this page is so sharp and clear in low light is because he/she has a good lense, good shutter speed, good aperture and a somewhat low ISO - this person has lined up all of his/her stars. The only way to get the T3i(600d) to give you great footage in low light is by having great settings & a lens that performs well in low light. Great low light lens = 50mm f1.8, I also have this lens.

@TheParaneetharan Hi. It's simple! Use F1.8, you put your camera to ISO 800 / 1600. Fokusirueshsya on the subject to shoot! If there is NOISE, after you render the video in MP4, the noise will be soft. Especially YOUTUBE makes NOISE soft. So do not worry, if you see a computer monitor noise.

А для фото не совсем удобно :) есть дешевый 50 мм 1,8 - за 100 баксов (там 5 лепестков) но ничего вручную не двигается :( В общем смотри и выбирай! ;)

@FlyinangeLproduction Standard lenses are good, but with a closed aperture will be too dark! : (I would advise you to take 1.4 or 1.8 as I have! The larger the hole the more light enters the camera.:)

The 550d does not do autoFocus on it own, the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 lense does autofocus how do you set the autofocus is there like a awitch or something? Sorry im abit confused.. lol
