Do you know if that was the show they made the DVD from? If it was, tell me where you were in front and what ya looked like & next time I watch it I'll look for ya! I've been to England once before, when I was in the Navy. Made a port call in Portsmouth and took the train up to London. My brother was stationed over there in the USAF, so he came down to Portsmouth to see me! It was a great reunion! : )

Think there's a mix-up here! I was at Wembley in 75 and there's a DVD from film of that show. I was right back in the crowd, though. I was right down the front by the stage at Southampton in July this year, but don't think there's a DVD yet! Also saw Alice at Wembley in 86 and 88! Check out 'Alice Impales Cameraman' on Y.Tube - I was there!! I've never been to the US - I'd like to go over and bring Alice back here!! XX

You ever seen the DVD "Welcome To My Nightmare"? Or better yet, did you ever see the original SHOW around '75?!! I doubt my parents would've let me go! The one on DVD was filmed at Wembley, as I recall. The press should have KNOWN that he OBVIOUSLY didn't kill himself on stage! How ELSE would he come back for another SHOW?!! LOL! I was at that show at Wembley Empire Pool (now Arena) in 75, yes! My parents didn't have a say because I was 19! Alice's 2 guitarists, Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter, were amazing, check 'Devil's Food Live' and DW & SH Onstage on Y.Tube. I remember Alice talking about the dolls, too! Saw him in Southampton in July - At 60 he still rocks the socks off everyone else. I got so close, right on the barrier, crushed and ecstatic!!

The Alice Cooper group released their first album in 1969 and started doing the whole shock rock thing around then or shortly after. Kiss came out in 1972. Black Sabbath formed in the mid-sixties but they were just heavy metal, when Ozzy went off on his own, thats when he started doing "shock rock".

I don't THINK so! Ozzy maybe, but KISS? Those dudes started around 1973, at least that's when their first album, simply called "Kiss" came out. And they can't hold a candle to The COOP! His group did their first album ("Pretties For You") in 1969.

LOL! I hear ya! I'm not any kind of "expert" on music history, but I was pretty sure he'd been around about the longest, except for The Stones. He mentioned that in an itnerview with KPHO Channel 5 in Phoenix once. The group was originally called "The Nazz", when, as he said, "We were basically just a garage band." They decided they needed a better name, and they started thinking of women's names..Lizzie Borden..Baby Jane..Alice Cooper. So there ya have it! ; )

I remember Screaming Lord Sutch complaining around 71 that Alice had stolen his make up and there were other shockers like MC5 and Crazy World of Arthur Brown, but Alice's band pushed limits further and got the commercial success. It was great being a teen in the UK at the end of the 60s and start of the 70s when it was all happening! No one comes close to Alice's originality and showmanship. Love to all AC fans!

Rap is good in some cases, and those are the raps that I like. like if it doesn't have 60000 cuss words over and over and talking about how "Gansta" their "shawty" is. It often has sexual or hate themes. Yes, so does rock at times, I don't listen to that kid of rock either. Thus concludes my rant. I expect lots of thumbs-downs. -.-;;
