exactly, the German's had russian helmets, the colonel or whatever he was, had a russian commissar hat on, the jap would have been in a segregated troop, as where the Niggers, Spicks, and any other ethnicity, the white pants, seriously, it never really snows in france espicially when the U.S. was trying take caentan that was early june, the guns were all m1903 Springfields, thats what all the guns were except the sergeants, and the German commander in an average rating i'd give this film a 3.

Just some criticism, not sure if you'd heard this already but just in case you haven't. Anything below a 2nd Lt. is not referred to by "sir" because they're not an officer. Any military personnel only addresses someone with "sir" if they are an officer. A sergeant, for example, is not an officer, therefore wouldn't be addressed as such. Just for future reference.

There was an entire Japanese unit that invaded Italy. It makes perfect sense that there is an asian in the film. However, back in WWII, units were still highly segregated based on color, hence why the Japs had their own unit.

good job. the airborne wouldn't run and give their position away by throwing random granades. they would lay in ambush and then attack the high priority targets first. also, the guns tat te officers carried was a luger, and shot a 9mm, which is difficult to take a person down with. other than that, great movie.

The marines did not fly P47s in the pacific theater.. only the US Army air corp flew them. It was mostly used to escort B17 and B24 on bombing missions over Germany, They were used in the pacific theater , but by only a few squadrons. Good short movie by some up and coming actors and directors. the kid playing sarge is outstanding,,we will hear about this young man again in the future
