OK soooo, I just tried this recipe, only I used organic, whole wheat flour and water instead of milk. They turned out fine but it was hard to tell when they were done because they were ALREADY brown. Also, I had to let them stay in the oven a little longer. Over-all I'd give my version a B+ or an 8 out of 10. Good stuff Big Daddy! THANKS!! Did I forget to say I LOVE YOU MAN!!
I use my grandmothers biscuit recipe,,and I use butter flavor crisco,,its fun to make biscuits at christmas time I use my christmas cookie cutters and make christmas trees and angels and candy canes,,I use food colering red and green to make it more like christmas biscuits,,it doesnt change the flavor,,only adds color,,this biscuit recipe looks really moist,,thanks for sharing it looks good
Am from middle east ,, and yeah it called laban ,, in some recipies we can subsitutet will plain yogurt ,, but am not sure stoiccynic if its ok in this recipie
@bintlooda to be honest, mine never last that long, always finish while still hot :) but i am sure if you microwave leftovers for 20 seconds, they will get nice and fluffy.

@StoicCynic i think you are referring to the "Big Daddy Buttermilk Fried Chicken" recipe, in which case you can just use regular milk.
if you live in the middle east area, butter milk is referred to as "Drinking Leban" (just in case)
