@Knyghtmarez05 Timothy Spall is (i'm sure) a very clever university guy from 'The Midlands'. His 'Birmingham' accent is deliberately made to sound more 'common' by his thespian skillery. The accent is, by all acounts, 'Brummie' to use a coloquial term. I'm from the North West of 'The England', where we all speak the Queens English with impeccable grammer.

If I ever become rich I hope to buy the rights to this show and make a whole new series (keeping in mind the original spirit of the show). I hope it's done right because so many remakes or sequils suck. Maybe even invite original actors back to either play older versions of themselves or other characters.

Well I grew up in the States in Maine, the only station that would remotely play something like this would be our "MPBN" an affiliate to PBS. Now a days I have 700 stations but when I do a search for Red Dwarf I can't even find the reruns :( Anyway, I don't think that MPBN or as it was once called Maine-PBS didn't play the entire series.
