Yes I've been to peaceful protests. Protests where thousands of people marched to save our local hospital. No windows were smashed and no one was provoking the police.

Yes I've been to peaceful protests. Protests where thousands of people marched to save our local hospital. No windows were smashed and no one was provoking the police.
The police only needed a few squad cars to manage it. < That is a peaceful protest.

I don't smoke it on a regular basis, but I've done it enough times (1 once is all you need really) to know that it makes you lazy and passive (when you're stoned). Try it some time, you'll see what I mean.

this was insane. Me and my cousin were there during my spring break. there were 1000's of people. it was incredible. hyde park with the concert was awesome. just a crazy but fun experience I will never forget. saw the queen also. with the mexican president in a carriage. pretty surreal.

However, when this power is abused so as to cater for a specific group in society, I can't tolerate it. A good example is the RUC in Northern Ireland. I do not know if it would work in England, but calling your local leader's and speaking with them. For example I call my local Mayor about thing's in my hometown. Its not really about the cause is it? Its all about an opportunity for generally unemployable adults and teenagers to get together and behave badly within the anonymity of a crowd. The lads get to show off their fervour and muscles with a few girls watching (hoping for some favours later) and the girls like to think they are achieving something in front of their friends (and maybe give out some favours later). Capitalism is the only way, communism and socailism doesn't work, people some people are born lazy so why should a hard working doctor get paid them same as some who only doesnt work half as hard. socailsim is all about bring people down to the (same) lowest level, if they have an advantage socailist would like to tax that advantage or hinder it as much as possible.
They can refuse benefits and work any why they want but that sounds too much like hard work doesn't it. ;-)
