No, it's because usually you have all types of missles loaded fire all of them and see what's the target's lowers resist(via log) and than just load the type of missles that do the most dmg.
@mrzisme well if you send one at a time one after the other after the other after the other it leaves less time for the shields to repair themselfs and so overall if im right you would do more DPS
