That's awesome. I'm curious how much it cost if you don't mind. You're braver than I am going in there with just swimming trunks on by the way. I wouldn't trust those aros anywhere near my wewe without a cup or something :P
this is soooo sick man i have loved all fish from when i was 4 now im 23 my moms friends had a huge 180 gallon(he had a silver arowana that died bc they had to evacuate he was like 5 years old) that they are passing down to me because my 12 inch silver and a couple other fish in my 90 are getting too big for it. i would love to eventually get one of these ponds for him.
@mdokos449 my uncle builds ponds i was just wondering how much it cost to build so i could start saving. also i like how you feed your fish a variety of food i do the same in my tank from various types of insects to fish and worms. thx for sharing my love of the great river monsters:)
@mdokos449 i hope to one day swim with my fish also one more question what latitude do you live at because seasonal temp can affect fish even if the pond/tank is inside i have battled countless heatwaves that have wiped out a reef setup and a couple fish in my old tanks but i also think it could have been there small volume of water they were all under 50 gallons.
YOU ARE ONE OF THE MOST LUCKIEST MAN IN THE WORLD.... if im in a tank with my silver arowana..... i may lose some flesh of mine... seriously.. i dunnoe why..
I also kept 3 diff. crabs in 3 different open-top tanks for over 2 years (they're natural lifespan) -- 1 of'em would climb out of the tank and onto the tank filter, then she would climb on top of the tank hood and mean-eye me from accross the room. Then when I would wake up to chop the morning wood she would dive back into the tank through the small opening in the top.
Remember crabs are not smart but they're no complete idiots... We both know where this is going...
do you feel better now? That must have taken a month or two to come up with im proud of you. When u build yours ill help you with the logistics. Oh and if my Arowana were so cramped and miss treated.....why haven't they jumped out?....good day to you.
very beautiful aquarium and fishes. these animal looks to be well pampered and well taken care after. v nice job :) keep the good work on.
only one question Are you not afraid that these monsters jump out the water and get fatally injured because i heard that the can jump out up to 3m out of the water.
awesome fish man. those are some nice aro's. i wouldnt worry too much about the naysayers, anyone bragging about a 55gallon tank and some cheap eels should never own an aro, for the fact they cant afford the up keep on one. or proper home.
Its amazing that you call me a "douche bag"..was it? Because a douche bag is exactly what it sounds like.. a place to dump stuff you do not want when your done with it. How fitting considering my pond was built to attempt to give these "Monsters" a place to go when their douche bag owners were done with them. I wish you all the best SpitRhyma........? ok.. With every word you help to reassure my dedication to education and involvement in Monster fish rescue.
@aquaticdesignsp I think the fact that I said I wish I could someday do what you did should have indicated that I respect what you've done. Its' funny how insecure you are. I have to wonder if you earn a lot of disrespect and hatred in real life so you assume every comment people make is an attack or insult. Well take this for an insult: you're a moron. Re-read the comment.
@aquaticdesignsp i didn't say making a 1,500G tank is something a douche bag would do... I said it's something that I want to do... But when I do... I'm not going to be a douche bag and throw arowanas in there... instead I'm going to put my tiretrack eel, fire eel, angelfish, and maybe a blackghost in there. Arowanas aren't mellow by nature. Only when cramped in your 55G fish tank. But douchebags aren't for trash, they are used to pump douche gel into a vagina. Don't you have a wife/GF?
@SpitRhyma I do have a wife, but she doesn't need that. My favorite part is when you said Aros are mellow by nature.........Did you watch the video? Oh and best of luck putting your Tire Track Eel in a pond........That should work out very well, it'll come out of there faster than,....than,...than douche from a bag. Best of luck
@aquaticdesignsp Hey moron 1st of all Arowanas are NOT mellow IN nature. They're mellow in your tank because they feel like prisoners. Arowanas are gangsters that were supposed to stay in nature. Like I said: people who *BUY* arowanas (meaning they pay a petshop and add to the demand) are cunts. You're a cunt for not knowing how to take a compliment (my original comment) but now I realize you're trash.
A pond can have a walled edge you dumb shit. BTW: my eel hasn't moved from her cave for years
Whenever I own my own property I will definately do something simlar. But I'm not so much of a douche bag and put huge fish in it. I would put Angelfish, Discus, and the current fish I have that outgrow my 55G like my tiretrack eel and fire-eel.
@Joshh2k10 lmao Are you being funny? I said I idolize the mane and want to create something just like what he did. There's few fish keepers I wouldn't take a piss on here on youtube... you're definately not on that list...
@SpitRhyma Dude really that wasn't necessary. You sound very ignorant and arrogant, any owner that is able grow its fish close to it's full potential growth in captivity is quite remarkable. With the right knowledge and understanding of the species everything should definitely be fine.
@SpitRhyma In essence, if the fish is comfortable there should be the least amount of stress and should live long. Stress is merely a term utilized to determine something is clearly effecting the fish upon visual reasoning, really it is undetermined to tell how a fish "feels" or "thinks" let alone know emotion(without the right information). Again, a fish growing close to its potential growth in captivity, and living to that extent is remarkable. I doubt you can sustain a fish to 10+ years.
hello sir how deep is your pond? because im making a pond inspired by yours.. thanks.. :) can you also tell me your estimate on it's length and width.. thanks sir.. :)
