That was one lone EMU or DMU unit from the looks of it. Had this been real, it certainly could have had a more dramatic deceleration, but instead it appears the brakes weren't even attempted to be applied. This doesn't look like a particularly heavy unit, so the effects of braking should be more apparent.

This is why they should implement full barriers, I think the cost of the extra barriers is heavily out-weighed by the cost of lives. I realize that people shouldn't cut through the barriers in the first place but if you give them the incentive to do so they will.
