Totally agree with the old school comments. Old school was and always will be better. They didn't need to swear or use shock tactics to sell records, they had a following and they spoke from their hearts. People respect that. Obviously not any more.

@panagiotious 15 years ago tonight was that legendary Fugees concert at Darien Lake as part of the Smokin' Grooves Tour, of which Cypress Hill, Gang Star, Damien Marley, Busta Rhymes and the Flipmode Squad, Public Enemy, and Jon Forte, M.O.P. the rap version of Outcast, Redman, George Clinton and Parliament P-Funk, Erykah Badu, and the Roots were part of, and the BLACK EYED PEAS OPENED! WOW. It was my first concert ever, and very surreal.

Totally agree with the old school comments. Old school was and always will be better. They didn't need to swear or use shock tactics to sell records, they had a following and they spoke from their hearts. People respect that. Obviously not any more.
As much as I like the old NWA/Dr Dre material, I think they set a standard that confused the younger generations. They started to think that was the way forward and the past was lost among the masses.
