  • Your videos to these enjoyable Garage bands are very well thought out & produced, Great & rare pictures really put you back in the era of the times...Thanks!

  • Magic.

  • really nice...sounds like the beau brummels

  • Brilliant number!

  • wow what a gem

  • I can't believe I've never heard this. Amazing!

  • i'm gladthet I came cross this music of my soul, thank you!

  • Oh. What a nice tune! Thank you very much for uploading this!

  • Thanks for all the nice comments and views. This is still one of my favorites to listen to and watch. This song should have been monster but as many of the songs on my channel, looked over and forgotten gems.

  • Awesome! I love this song. What a wonderful forgotten gem. There was so much great music from 1965-1972. This should have been a hit!

  • I traveled with this band on and off for two years. Married the keyboardist (in the military jacket) Bob Grady. None I know of went on to "bigger success" in the music world. Some still play.

  • So glad to see this song still up as it has been over a year since I have viewed it and as of yet have not been able to purchase it as I travel so much!!! As crazy as the world is,it's nice to see some things do not change to much. Yeah baby, lock and load... it,s go time

  • @7klicksout Have never heard of this before & always considered myself an afficionado of this era - when I came of age in the 70's.

  • Reminds me of Ohio by CSNY.

  • cool!

  • Is this the B-side of "It's a-Happening"? It's amazing how much great music came from the garage/"amateur" bands of the '65-68 period, and how there always seems to be new stuff being discovered from that era. Thanks for posting!

  • a brilliant song love it

  • : )

  • Groovy dude.

  • let the rain be me :)

  • Like this.........knowing the year and the sounds of that period VERY well, it generates memories........some not so pleasant, but all part of the same equation.......dreams DID some true and some "all time highs" followed.

  • What a cool song!!!! Should have been a big hit.

  • This is the best song by them. I don't know why "It's-A-Happening" was their most popular song, this is way better

  • Great Song, Thanks for posting it. It is like something out of my childhood.....the music I grew up on. The name of the group is pretty cool too.

  • That's the great thing about 60's music. There's always more hits to discover.

  • @bixbyglaser Absolutely.Oldies radio plays the same old tired slop, when they have an untapped goldmine of great stuff.Thank God for postings like this one.

  • @bixbyglaser Absolutely right.

  • @bixbyglaser Damn, right.

  • Excellent! Thanks for posting it!

  • Thanks so much for posting this and all the other tunes from the 60's.

  • Thanks for the view.

  • Wow, the sound of those organ arpeggios at 0:51 2:02 and 2:40 is downright otherworldly. I wonder if it's a Vox or a Farfisa.

  • It was a Vox. I was the lead guitar player in the band.

  • thats soo cool man,

thanks for producin such rad music, i love your song "its a happeining

    thanks again

  • @ted2064 Ted, what year was this? Did any of you guys go onto bigger success? I have never heard this, and really like it. Do you still play? Thanks Joel in Tucson

  • i trhink u should add lots of flooresent colours in the vid it would help the vibe of the song go better with the vid

  • I have done the hue-spectrum thing in vids before, I just did not think it worked here.

  • great song !!!

  • A really great song from a really great time before I left country.

  • And where are you now?

  • Back home USA........Thank you for asking.

  • @garageband66

all the so "great bands" have stolen from the unknown - this is reality - all other conflicts - lets go ... Stones, Beatles, Pink Floyd - all have stolen from unknown bands... the history of rock music is a history of stolen boys, managers & many other bad ideas

  • Thanks for the nice comments and it's always raining somewhere so many photobugs like myself will be out there snapping away.

  • I guess the same morons who turned down the Beatles were still running the records labels.

  • Pretty much the case.

  • Thanks for saving and sharing this tasty piece from one of the most creative periods in music history. I hadn't heard of these guys before, even though I own Lothar and the Hand People, Joe Byrd and the Field Hippies, Fifty Foot Hose, Fever Tree, Sacred Mushroom, White Noise, etc....somehow they escaped me. Thanks for the introduction.

  • That's the great thing about the 60's...the number of great songs and artists from that era is phenomenal.

  • I totally agree. And what sucks is we'll never get to hear all of it!!

  • 5 stars and added to favourites list

  • Thanks for both.

  • Oh yeah.. Just heard this for the first time. What a great track.

  • It was a flip side. Can't understand that one.

  • I was listening to this last night on the "Filling the Gap" compilation CD and it's become one of my favorite songs. I didn't realize that this same group did "It's a Happening". This tune is gorgeous!

  • I have It's a Happening" and will get it up this weekend.

  • Nice song of theirs that I hadn't heard before. Does anyone have a clean copy of their song, "Never let Go"?. I have it in mediocre shape.Maybe I'll get around to trying to digitally clean it up some day.... thanks for the post- Peace....

  • I may have it somewhere I will let you know.

  • The video for never let go is up, check it out.

  • sweet face.

  • I was the lead guitar player of The Magic Mushrooms. This was the b side of Municipal Water Maintenance Man, which was our 3rd release. Personally, I think this was the best song we released.

  • Wow! i keep finding former members of bands that check in every now and then. This really was a great song. I'll do my best to keep it out here. If you have some of your other releases, please share.

    Thanks for viewing.

  • @ted2064 A "B" side????Wow!!!I LOVE this song.Kudos to you for being in a band that does stuff this great.Best wishes>

  • This song ain't bad but its not as good as Its A Happening.

  • murry the k and roscoe used to play the magic mushrooms on worfm

  • As I have found in research they were quite the rage on the coast for a time.

  • THX FOR POSTIN THIS IS A GREAT SONG

  • Great song, I really like the sound of the keyboard. Sounds just like something from 1966. Good Job.

    Bob

  • I'd like to hear what the E-types might do with this one. Ever given thought of a CD covering great garage band classics?

  • That's a good idea, however at this time I don't think it would be possible. It would take a lot of time and money to do it properly. But, I never rule anything out.

    Bob

  • so gorgeous. was this the b-side to "it's a happening"? if so then yes it is the better track.

  • Not too my knowledge, it was a trippy song called Maintenance Municipal Water Man according to the sources I found. But they agree with you that this side was the better cut.

  • First time for me on this one. I like it. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks even more for viewing. This was a good find.

  • First time ive heard this, great track thanks for posting.

  • Thanks for the view. I have exhausted my UK resources about your video from a few months ago and never heard anything. Any luck?

  • I like this group. Thanks for posting.

  • Yes they are/were good and like most of the garagebands from the 60's, were left holding the bag while record labels and management took their royalties.

  • What a shame, it seems all these good groups end up with the shorter end of the stick.

  • Thanks Friend, for sharing this great song and video, another great Pa. group!!!!

  • Yoou are welcome and thanks for the view.
