  • a chinese gypsy?

  • i thought that said mustache

  • He talks to much! Just show the trick please!

  • @Verjazzio

    Wrong vid?

  • I'm Josh!

  • @JoshuasGuitar Oh, Hi Josh!

  • Very well done. Gypsy Jazz Manouche is great to listen to. Someday I hope to play it. Thanks.

  • I have a question, does anybody know where can I find the chords used in gypsy jazz played with the 3 notes, because I only find in tabs the normal chords, and we know rythmic guitar only uses 3 notes at least.

  • so the strumming pattern is up down(1 beat) ,down(2 beaT) ?

If we look at his right hand movement it seems he make

down up (first beat) , down (2 beat) .

Anyone has this impression looking at the video?

I have tried both but the second pattern (down up ,down) is real tricky and sound bad to me .

    Thanks for support .

  • lol i like your username

  • THANK YOU

  • GREAT MAN THANKS! HAIL DJANGO!

  • french guitars are the best for this style

  • thanks for the info, ninja & eduardo.. I'v found out that selmer has closed since 1960 & there are only lessthan a thousand pc in the market now... however, they are selling the blue prints of every model they've designed...

  • i'm playing an AJL guitar in this video; it's the "jazz model"

  • It's a gypsy guitar. It's usually design and made by a "guitare maker" (don't know the name in english, in french it's a "luthier"). Of course you can have one in a store but the first solution is better.

Cost: 500€ (~420$) almost the first price i know to get a good gypsy guitar

  • It's the same in english, luthier.

  • In English a person that makes a guitar is called a "luthier"!

  • Its a Selmer, at least Selmer like; check Wikipedia

  • Depending on the manufacturer it may cost $750 or much more.

  • this guy doesn't play the guitar but he seems to have mastered the right hand

    watch?v=vRmvBxtX4aM

  • just to confirm, down stroke then up stoke on the first beat so it sounds as one and then down stroke on the second beat?...

  • u got it the otherway around. it's upstroke then downstroke on first beat, then downstroke on second beat

  • sha sha ne

  • Isn't the first stroke meant to be a raking downstroke, and the second stroke a "whip"?

  • el weon dise: mucha gente tiende a hacer esto..... enseña la forma correcata a tu punto de vista no mas... k sabi vo wn como lo que hace el resto... que sabi del resto...
