I'm not very good with advice but, I usually beat him the easy way but chugging Quick Steps and Pain Killers. If you don't want to go the pussy route like I usually do, there's a few grenades and assault rifles near the fallen soldiers. Overall, a very fun and (for some reason) tragic boss fight. I was beginning to like Boykin so I'll admit, I was shocked to see him go batshit lol.
