@AndresNavaChannel You must have read a rumour, since Disney/Pixar are definitely not remaking it.
There was originally going to be a CGI/3-D Disney remake for 2012 (but not Pixar) directed by Robert Zemeckis. Thank God Disney pulled the plug, though. It's the same guy who was doing Polar Express, Beowulf, etc where the CGI is way too realistic and creepy. It had to do with money concerns. Also the director kept delaying meeting with The Beatles' representatives or something.
@AndresNavaChannel The 3-D and CGI would be a gimmick. The original is a classic, and the 2-D animation is ultra-psychedelic as it is. Only way to top it is to actually watch it on acid. ;)
They should re-release the original in theatres again, though, even if it's for a limited showing.
Better yet, they should have a period of time where they re-release all The Beatles movies, one after the other, in theatres.

in 2014 or so....
