Reminds me alot of a Hardcore version of James Chance and the Contortions but instead of No Wave to Pop Rock 'n' Roll, it's Retro 50's Hardline, Hardcore, Rock 'n' Roll meets No Wave. You definitely don't want to be too fashionably-original especially if you're starting out Indie. This band is legendary.
