@FibrousAcquiescence PCs are obsolete for gaming unless the market changes direction. No one wants to spend 1000$ every 2 years just to be able to play a game as it was meant to be played.
@Novecento I'm so sick of this same stupid comment over and over again. You DON'T HAVE TO keep paying a premium in order to play the newest games. My currently four year old system ($900 to build at the time) can run all of the newest games great at max or near max settings. Keep in mind, though, that the performance you get from a game on a console is about equivalent to the same game on medium settings with the PC version.
I think the big problem with the "looks like the anime" games that exist right now, is the animation sequences are still moving at 15-20 fps, while the 3D games are moving at 30-60, so even if they were able to replicate the animations effect perfectly, the fact that its moving so smoothly would make it not feel exactly right. I wonder if its possible to cut frames out of the 3D characters animations to make them appear more classically-animated?
