Perhaps the most suave (ie human) Idomeneo from a most dedicated tenor who should secure the international recognition which he deserves and more. What are stage directors and record companies waiting for? More staged productions, discs and DVDs with Croft, please

Je viens de l'entendre dans Idomeneo à Paris et j'étais tout près de la scène. J 'ai été déçu tout d'abord par la qualité de sa voix émise dans le fond de la gorge. Sa technique qui lui permet de vocaliser me semble de plus peu orthodoxe avec ses effets de "castagnettes" sur la machoire. Enfin la voix n'est pas bien posée et pas toujours juste et il ne chante pas sur le souffle.

It truly is the most beautiful tenor coloratura singing. It's amazing to me that Richard Croft hasn't been a major superstar like Juan Diego Florez.
