yep, they are right most burn up in the beginings of our atmosphere. Of those that make it through alot explode a couple of thousand feet up. These can be just as deadly as those that hit the Earth....if the diameter is large enough.

Probably broke up coming through the atmosphere. Just a couple of years ago one was destined to hit Sudan and was the size of an artic truck, but sky blasted, and didn't hit. Just a light show at 6 in the morning.

Not a meteor, there would have been a pre-warning, it's the USA shooting down friendly visitors from outside Earth who don't want you to know they exist, and it crashes into an unpopulated area of Canadian space for safety.
