Dude... OK, the song is gorgeous, and the cherry blossoms are a beautiful touch, but the music is completely Chinese. The cherry blossoms are Japanese. They only go together if you don't recognize Japanese music. Not your fault, though. I wouldn't have known either if I didn't study it for years. :D

(Not that there aren't Chinese cherry blossom trees. It's just that Chinese flower viewing was usually plum trees, while Japanese flower viewing usually involved cherry blossoms.)

The Sakura in Chinese culture is symbol of feminine beauty. 樱(" sakura" called by Japanese) has long history in China,It was planted in Chang An, the captial city of Tang dynasty,"618 A.D." and poets wrote lots of poems for her delicate beauty.

I will say that Chinese and Japanese culture are in no way the same, no matter how many steryotypical simularities that float around. History and actually emersing yourself in one culture or the other is a great example. I am not saying your stupid or anything, just misenformed, I used to think the same way but after resurching history for most of the nations today, I have to say that every culture is made of and has origonated from each and every other culture.

You are correct in some respects, The Japanese are vagabond nomatic people that left the mainland of China around the years of first recorded history (1st century AD). Interestingly enough, the Jomon Period (14000 BC-400BC) in japan reveals evidence of population and culture that was of heavy influence and is greatly responceble for what we know of Japan today. This really isn't what i would consider relaxation music after a long day of hard work in a metal factory, but WHO CARES!!!! This music is freaking awesome! I fell in love with it the second it started. The composer is a genius, by adding the correct musical instruments into this small orchestra-band, he/she has touched my soul.
