I also know how it feels to give premature birth. Brandon was born 6 weeks early premature. Thankfully his lungs were developed, but he did have a hard time eating and keeping his temperature. Thankfully after 2 weeks in NICU he got to come home and he is healthy as can be! I am walking this year to support in April and I can't wait to see how much money they raise.

I have never gotten to walk in the March of Dimes but i so appreciate everybody who does. That means these ppl care and wanna find out why so much innocence is lost every year. Thank you all for caring so much...This is in the name of Dominik Austin (born 6/9/02 2.2 lbs) and Christian James (born 6/9/02 2.3 lbs) And thanx to all the wonderful ppl who cared about them so much to do everything they could to save them both there are alive and well at six years old in kindergarden:)

This story is so true and March Of Dimes is wonderful!! I had my little boy 2 months early 3 1/2 years ago and he has been sick every since. He spent from July 2007 to Dec 2007 in the hospital 3 times in ICU and the local director of March of dimes came by to visit my little boy several times, even after a few of his surgeries. I will always support March and Dimes and look forward to when I can make another trip to the state capitol with them again because premature birth has to end!

What a wonderful video! I will be walking for the first time this year. On December 18th of 2006 my daughter gave birth to a baby boy at 26 weeks. He weighed only 2 lbs 1 oz. If not for the March of Dimes he would not be here today. I thank God and all the kind and caring people who have given their time and money to make it possible for babies like Kaisen to be here today! Thanks so much for allowing me to hold my grandson in my arms!

I have supported MOD for many years. My husband and I have been trying for 2.5 yr to have a precious baby unfortunately I have had 4 miscarriages. Only God knows why. Bless you to each family whose precious baby born early or with something wrong survives. God Blesses each one of you! GO MOD!

march of dimes is very close to my heart. our son was was 2.2# @ 29 weeks, we spent 58 days in the nicu.he got to come home 10 days before christmas of 04.what a great christmas that was.thanks for all the support that everyone has given and lets put and end to prematurity

One of the most touching video clips.. The reasons behind the video is why I volunteer for March of Dimes. As Chairperson for WalkAmerica 2007 - Middlesex County I am committed to supporting the March of Dimes for the great work they do in "Saving Babies."

Being an active volunteer of the March of Dimes means many things to many people but to me it is to Support the Mission of MOD, "to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

My friends son was born 10 weeks early and ever since i heard his story i have been walking with my mother for the last two years. Also both of my cousins were born around 9 weeks early and, thank the Lord they are healthy and happy toddlers today!

I lost my daughter in 2005 she was 25 weeker and passed away at 3 wks old due to an infection.. All of my children were early 36 and 32 weekers and they are fine today. The march of dimes gave me 3 wonderful weeks with my daughter and I thank them for that. They are doing wonderful things and saving so many babies. Its a wonderful cause and I support them 100% thank you March Of Dimes... Julie Scollard

Thank you for sharing. I walk every year now for the MOD. It is a great cause. My baby was 1 pound 7 ounces at birth. I was 24 weeks along. TOday I am proud to say she is 2 years old and shows only minor problems due to her prematurity. Please everyone who sees this know what a great cause this is. All who donate and help my heart goes out to you. Thank you for helping save our baby and all the other babies out there.
