It's a round specifically designed to take the same trajectory as the rocket.... it's pretty much a 9mm sized round that has the length of two 9mm pistol rounds and is put in a 7.62 shell and tapped with a winchester priming system. If you were to see the reverse side you would see a sleek almost unoticable rifle attached to the laucher. You get the round on target then you put the rocket on target. Pretty. Simple.
@Doomslayer9394 The thing they shot out the rocket? i think its a 556 round that they use so they can see were it lands and correct their aim before they shoot the rocket, because sometimes you cant afford to miss.

@88pie88
Because the weapons that the US has are better?
Heaney5551 1 week ago
@Heaney5551 Not true. Rpg is much cheaper then a AT4 and smaw, and it is just as accurate.

Was this during a firefight or a drill? It seems like a drill but I'm not the expert.

This makes perfect sense.... however a command sop like that wouldn't work the same for everybody
Neurekijs 6 months ago
My unit procedure is that you shouldn't shout "rocket" because it can throw off your shots at the last minute.
