I get kind of sentimental and remember going to their concerts with my brothers and sister...and we all sat in different seats...hmmm, maybe we're not as close?? lol
dont want to be a negative person the concert looks amazing, but some pyrotechnics would made this better. whats the point of having such an expensive setting with no pyros
man they are the greatest band rock ever made and also im a U2 fan cause i wouldn't missed this anywhere even if it kills me and i had to get there on their tours =-D
Wow......do you mean one of the "shittiest" U2 concerts ever, or one of the shittiest concerts of all time, period? Everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
I disagree so much, that I'm going to see them again here in Toronto in July 2010!
Great Video!! I got tixs for the July 3, 2010 show. I have never been to this venue before. What is the best section to sit in with the U2 360 stage configuration (not counting GA)??
Sorry no "The Unforgettable Fire". I didn't get very good footage of it, and YouTube videos are limited to 10 minutes so I had to leave it out. Great song though! I hear they are coming back to Toronto in July 2010.
thank you for sharing, was right in front row between bono and the edges mic, and way up on 2nd night, both were unbelievable experiences. I LOVE U2!!!!!!
I was at the show on the 17th. The new album is allright. I don't care for get on your boots but no line and magnificent are both great songs worthy of a place on achtung in my opinion.
But I do think that U2 needs to work a little harder on their new albums, because they havent put out a good album since Popmart. I have seen them twice in concert and I think they need a better sound system. They need to get something like what the rolling stones have. They need to spend a little more cash in the stage show. The tickets are way too expensive and they need to make sure that fans get what they paid for.
Dont get me wrong,I love U2, but think about what I havesaid.
Hahaha the sound at the Toronto shows and New york shows was unbelievably good. Their stage is the biggest stage ever constructed and I'd be willing to bet among the most expensive ever as well. Their average ticket price this tour is roughly $100 which is far less then a Rolling Stones ticket. Where the hell do some of you come up with this crap?
That's a great highlight video! Thank you!!! I was there on the 17th. Sure wish I had been to both shows ... and sure wish the next Canadian date was closer than BC! Thanks for sharing your video!!
I am from Brazil (Porto Alegre city). I saw some videos of the concert on YouTube. Seems that was a amazing concert, wasn't it? Luck guys from Toronto!!!
Awesome spectacle to be experienced. Love this band. Went on the 16th was was very very disappointed in the setlist. No Pride, Gloria, I Will Follow, Bullet The Blue Sky, Out Of Control, New Years Day. I know it's tough with 50 albums to choose from. Will definitely be going to see em again though.
this is the 16th show, you should hv seen the 17th show, the crowed was bigger, they added 3 songs which they didnt play on 16th mysterious ways, stuck in a moment was done unplugged and one more, 17th was far better than the 16th.
That is about as "going crazy" as middle aged Canadians get, LOL! (In our defense, there were thousands of people jumping, singing, dancing, clapping and screaming throughout the show.) We are definitely not as passionate as the Europeans and Latin Americans at U2 concerts or sporting events, but then again it's from years of watching our Leafs (hockey) and BlueJays (baseball) losing all the time. But that doesn't mean we didn't have a great time. The show was amazing!!
I was in GA second night, about 10 ft from the centre of the stage and we were definitely very pumped and got the whole upper level doing the wave before u2 took the stage. it was an amazing show.
Thanks for posting, I watched the concert from Red Zone 2 and although you could see Bono's wiskers you could not get the full effects of the light show. A totally different perception!!!
That's what's cool about YouTube. We can check out the concert the next day from the eyes of people sitting all over the stadium and see it from different angles! Bono's whiskers...now that's close!!!!!
yeah I agree I was on the inner circle close to the front on thurs, and I had no idea how crazy the lights were. the only thing we could really see was the CN tower changing colour.
Rogers CENTRE. we're in Canada so please change this incorrect American spelling immediately.

"they need a better sound system" ?!? -- you weren't at 360 then. Listening to YouTube loads out your laptop speakers won't be the same
"tickets are way too expensive"?!? -- $55?
"aren't putting out good albums" ?!? -- you're entitled to your opinion
If you are Rolling Stones fan, well then you will be a Rolling Stones fan.

Are you crazyy !! ???? I was at that concert and it was AMAZING !!! :D :D
natalka1994nati 2 years ago 10
was at this show, and it was alright. Key missing elements:
Strobe lights
Unused platform lighting
Mirrorball should have been used more
Less slow songs and more upbeat dancier tunes similar to "go crazy"
Show should have more role playing, and more interaction with fans.
You could tell the crowd wasn't feeling it this night.
