Best character in the game, he doesn't even have any weaknesses, except his bow defence in pretty bad, but not the worst.

@KingJaz17 I agree with you. BTW this is not Gan Ning's best performance possible. I can even complete this game with killing all officers (except reinforcements) in 5 mins. Gan Ning is way stronger than anyone overall. He is great enough at archer situations, so KOEI made his bow defence super low.

I don't try to keep it high, nor do I try to get it to a low state. So the answer is no reason.

The status of the health bar doesn't even make it to a secondary concern as far as video objectives go
