  • That one guy with two quetsions didn't get to ask his second question!

    LOL

  • a simple signed waiver would be sufficient. My dads 401k was wiped out by 65% in the last bear market. I dropped 7% in UNG. I was banned from buying UNG, but the fund manager who lost my dads lifes savings is still managing 401ks. Just another tool to rig the markets. massive BS. IMHO.

  • 42:14 caller is correct. the whole world is in debt to itself. and the world is nearly bankrupt to itself. Countries in a supposed surplus are no exception. There money system is a function of a central bank and fractional reserve currency, interest is applied to the debt instrument upon creation just like the Fed. Money is debt. and debt is money. ...and then there's interest. Interest can only be paid by the money already in existence, but how? Constant new money creation. More debt so on

  • @tslipsitin "Money is debt" - which theory of money and credit is that from?

  • @tslipsitin Oh wait... another Zeitgeist kook.

A piece of free advice: get educated on economics first. Money is a medium of exchange. No money = no exchange or barter. Exchange is necessary if we have private property and division of labor. The reason you kooks hate money is because you hate private property, and would like to have a centrally planned, directed and administered economy.

  • @TheLegalImmigrant05 I appreciate your knee jerk comment and attack label that I am kook. And the vast assumption that I hate money and I hate property. I just reviewed your channel and watched about 5 videos. You seem like a pretty alight guy. Somewhere down the line you've become hardly opinionated to a point where new ideas and possibilities are being shut off... btw If there is a specific book or lecture you were referring to for me to "get educated first" please recommend.

  • @tslipsitin I will respond, but I need to establish something first:

Are you or are you not a fan of the Zeitgeist Movement and Resource Based Economy?

  • @tslipsitin "I am" - Then my comment stands

  • @tslipsitin "If there is a specific book or lecture you were referring to for me to "get educated first" please recommend"

Austrian Theory of Business Cycle and Other Essays (various authors)

    Meltdown by Thomas Woods Jr.

The Road to Serfdom by F.A. Hayek

    Fatal Conceit by F.A. Hayek

Theory of Money and Credit by Ludwig von Mises

  • @TheLegalImmigrant05 Very familiar with Austrian school... but thank you. I will check out these books.

  • @tslipsitin "the vast assumption that I hate money " - do you not? Are you then not in conflict with the Zeitgeist doctrine that money is the root of all evil or something? :)

  • @TheLegalImmigrant05 No I dont hate money. I'm not sure I hate anything. Where have you read that there is a Zeitgeist Doctrine and it is that money is the root of all evil?

Hey before you start recoiling your spring for an argument or debate. Just know that even though you label me as a kook. I am respecting and agreeing with much of your videos. Especially the one on intellectual honesty. And I ask you. Can you truly be intellectually honest? Your identity is deeply entrenched. It would seem.

  • @tslipsitin "before you start recoiling your spring for an argument" - didn't know we were having an argument

As for intellectual honesty - surely you will not argue that I am intellectually dishonest because I have strong opinions? Being "open minded", i.e. accepting of ANY ideas, no matter what their merit, no matter how rational, is quite the OPPOSITE of being intellectually honest. If you see a flaw in any of my arguments, you are welcome to point it out.

  • Peter almost seems like he's unaware of the Andrew Macguire affair. Is that possible?

  • @stormcrow2525 no, if he talks about it his rivals can brand him a 'conspiracy nut'

  • The government hired 48000 temp census workers.

  • ADP has PRIVATE SECTOR job losses for March at 23,000.

  • About the jobs. Official US data says it's +162k.

  • MSNBC says that 162,000 jobs were created in March.. you say we loss 20,000... I'm gonna believe you because of history.

  • @Crustanarchy Wasn't Peter talking about the quarter, and MSNBC is talking about jobs? As well...think US Census workers...

  • Comment removed

  • Really enjoy your thoughts Peter. Don't know if you are aware, but there are very annoying pops (from the microphone?) that distracts from the video. Maybe you could look into it. Thanks.

  • Peter Schiff for senate 2010! and I actually likes the new youtube layout. ha

  • @yushaos Yes for Peter No I hate the new layout

  • Lol. Loved his disclaimer in this one...

  • @jabf2006
