the look in ethans eyes the whole time tells it all. he's crazy inlove with her ! and the look on his face, when he says ' there's another man out there for you', looked like it was the hardest thing he's ever had to say !
He says there is another man out there for her knowing that he'll never lose her. That he posses her in some way. He doesn't mean it. That's why he loses it when he thinks Theresa is actually not in love with him any more. And why I love this scene so much because it's Theresa throwing his self entitlement and arrogance in his face.

He says "there is another man out there for you" knowing full well that Theresa will always love him and pine for him and chase after him, hurt and anguish over being with him, and he's ok with that. He is perfectly fine with her dying in inside,. Someone HE claimed to love. Because He's knows full well that no matter what she'll love him.
I love this part of passions becuz to me it's like she finnaly took a stand for herself and realized that if he wouldnt leave gwen for her and be with her when ethan knew he loved theresa mroe than anything to me this is her way of sayin im done fighting and tryin to get you to see with me is where u out to be..im tired of tryin to make this dream come true...im movin on...I love her for that I adore her for that!!Yeap..
I agree! I loved this part of Passions too! I also loved the Jared stuff that came up later because of this because for once the tables were turned, and Ethan was acting like Theresa & Theresa was acting like Ethan (a.k.a. Ethan having sex on the side with Theresa & trying to convince her that they belong together while Theresa tries to convince him that she has to be noble & stay loyal to her boyfriend Jared). It was great to see their routine relationship dynamics be reversed for a change.
I also love whenever Theresa stands up for herself for a change. I think my all-time most favorite Theresa standing up for herself moment was the one where Theresa stood up to Juanita in the episode before the series finale. I just love how she gets rid of her Gertrude disguise while making a powerful speech to Juanita about everything she's been through throughout the series, and how she's not going to let some bitch with a grudge take her out!!! I remember getting up and clapping at the TV
screen rooting & cheering on my girl Theresa for 10 minutes straight. Hell, that feeling's returning right now just thinking about how powerful that scene was in my head right now as I type this comment.
