I really think the beat by itself is perfect, sort of like hip-hop jazz no need for a voice to touch it. Sometimes Nujabes' instrumentals speak more than the words of any language, I think thats why he named his album "Metaphorical Music". I would say this mash-up isn't necessary, but its always fun to see someone trying to mix acapella's into Nujabes' music. Also the beat over-powers the acapella alot.
