@jpecci Not sure I can compare the 40 to the 60, as I only have experience with the 40. I'm sure the 60 would be a bit better at everything properly built. I do believe in "bigger is better". The 40 was great... quite complex to build as it was an old kit with a lot of manual block shaping and such... but I enjoy it! See details of the build here: (I'll send you the link)
I suggest you drop your throttle before you get to the beginning of your approach and get the plane down low while it still has some speed, then without using any elevator just fly it smoothly until it settles down onto the grass. just my two cents. you fly it well, but you can trust these things to glide forever. I think your approach is too hot and high.
Of all the copyright enforcements, this is just stupid. I play a little Zeppelin in my stupid home movie and it gets censored for copyright infringement. What is the world coming to?
Thank you for your comment! Yes, I do very much enjoy this fun hobby!
My engine is a Saito .82 4-stroke. In this video I had an 11x9 propeller. It should really have at least a 13x9 propeller. I will try again with a larger propeller, and the fuel mixture improved. Cheers!
Hi, was building very difficoult? Could you give your view in comparing the 40-scale and the 60? thanks.

I fly this plane with an OS 91 with 15/6 wood scimitar prop. it hauls ungodly ass, plus I lost some weight switching from that heavy APC 14/6.

Love the smoke trail from your Saito. Great job building and flying her! Those GP Extras fly very smooth.
